Maroon Bells Scenic Visit

Wildlife is often seen during a visit to the Maroon Bells Wilderness Area

No visit to Aspen Snowmass in the spring, summer, or fall would be complete without a trip to the Maroon Bells.  Visiting the Maroon Bells offers an unforgettable experience in one of the most photographed and iconic natural landscapes in North America. The twin peaks of Maroon and North Maroon rise above Maroon Lake, creating a breathtaking reflection in the crystal-clear waters. Surrounded by lush forests and alpine meadows, the area is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, with opportunities for hiking, picnicking, and wildlife spotting. Whether visiting in the vibrant summer, the golden hues of fall, or the snow-covered spring the Maroon Bells provide a serene and awe-inspiring escape into nature.
