Aspenwood Studio plus Loft - J12

The condo was exactly as described/pictured and super clean. Check in/out process was easy, and there was great communication from the host (iTrip). Beds were comfortable, and the condo was very close to the hot tub/pool (can we just talk about that hot tub for a minute!). I'd definitely stay again.

This was a great place for a long weekend! The kitchen had everything we needed and although it's a studio it felt really big. The loft provided a great spot for additional beds. The hosts were very communicative and responsive, even though we didn't have any needs arise. I highly recommend!

The loft bed were horrible and couldn't able to sleep on the beds. And the shower was peeling the skin off, as it was hitting that hard. No adjustments at all.

The loft with beds is not a loft. It should be listed as a storage loft. It was terribly hot up there too for the children.

I would not recommend staying here despite the good location. The apartment is much more dated than in the photos and I have no idea when the carpet was properly cleaned last. There was a lot of construction going on right outside the condo which was loud and began early in the morning. The host did not communicate this to me in advance or offer some kind of reduction- which is typically normal. The information help book was so-so and way too long! There wasn't even one in the condo, which is just ridiculous !! The people were very pushy about making sure I left a good review and for me, it was way too much. Also the check out instructions included taking out all of the trash, which I think the guests should not be required to do when leaving a nice (and expensive) condo.

Great for ski in/ski out. Only a one minute walk to the slopes off of Village Express. The recent renovation is nice and appreciated!

My family enjoyed this sweet little studio with loft right off the Snowmass Mall and the SLOPES!!

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay in this sweet little studio with loft. (Not suitable for very little kids-as the loft is high and open ladder stair for access!) Unit is very well located to the slopes-short walk- and is just off the upper mall-so easy access to dining, shops and BOWLING! Fun to take the “Skittles” gondola down at night to lower mall-more dining, ice skating(free!) and delicious artisan ice cream.Snowmass is a fantastic family mountain with skiing levels for everyone. Beautiful facilities everywhere!

Great location

The 2 beds were extremely comfy although one bed was right alongside the kitchen. Living room was comfortable for a small group to socialize. The bathroom was adequate and had enough towels and necessities such as shower gel and shampoo. The pool and hot tubs were very nice and close by. When I called the apt manager (?) she responded right away and made sure our questions were answered. The living room rug was a.little worn and needed a better cleaning. The temperature was just right but we didn’t figure out how to work the thermostat. Overall, a comfortable place to stay.

Accommodations were as advertised. We were pleasantly surprised when notified we could check-in early. Room has plenty of towels, supplies, etc.

Just what we needed for our Thanksgiving ski trip.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was clean and the property was beautiful ~ the pool, hot tubs and sauna were advertised but even better than we expected. It was an easy and beautiful walk to the downtown area. During our stay we had a small issue and the property manager responded immediately. Service at this property was excellent. With that said, I only rated it a 4 because the upstairs loft beds were not usable for us. It was my mom, sister and me; we're 5'6", 5'7" and 5'8". While advertised as a loft, we didn't expect to have to squat or crawl to get to our beds. If you have kids old enough to maneuver steep stairs but short enough to get to the loft beds , it would be a great set-up. The only other draw back was the location of the bed downstairs - right by the refrigerator. However, I believe the pictures did reflect this. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The good - Kim's responsiveness and help throughout our stay was excellent. 2 Hot tubs are big and hot! Pool amenities and sauna were awesome. The bad - Place is dated and in need of renovation. Carpets are drab and smell old, and the bathroom is pretty sad. Shower is small for someone 5'5" or over. It gets pretty hot during summer, and no AC, so only fans and open windows to cool you down. It cools down late at night so it's manageable.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kim’s condo! It was very clean and comfortable and was a great deal. The hot tub is fantastic! Two things of note- you cannot stand up in the loft. This is indicated in the listing, but it was still a bit of a surprise. The beams overhead are carpeted though and we didn’t have a problem. The other thing is that there is also no AC. With the fans running and the windows open, it cooled down pretty well though.

This ski in/ski out location requires a bit of a walk to the mountain, but it is not far or difficult. The property is dated and would benefit from a refresh. Unfortunately, it was not as clean as I expected, specifically, the bathroom floor had not been thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.

The condo at the Aspenwood is a perfect location. The layout of the condo is a bit awkward with the main queen bed adjacent to the kitchen and a loft with VERY low ceilings. It was plenty space for 4 people, but occasionally things felt a little tight or cramped when trying to cook dinner or navigate the kitchen.

Clean and cool place to stay in. unlikely we went at off-season time (season is at thanksgiving) and it was still high price. the public pool was an average and hot tub was closed. I saw red fox at night for the first time in my life and I enjoyed it!.

The hosts were quick to respond and accommodate us for our trip. Be sure to make note that there is no AC, we were unaware of this before arrival. However, the hosts brought fans upon requested! Great service.

Met expectations in photos & bio, great location...$10/day parking & finding bldg to pay it before skiing was only downside. Had to go to Snowmass Mall, find city parking office, walk back to lot again. Many steps with children. A suggestion would be including it in fee or having ability to pay it at condo office.

We stayed with our teen children. It was a comfortable space that allowed everyone to ski on their own time both in departing from and returning to the condo. We had one minor situation due to there not being a DVD player as advertised. We would have been fine without it - yet the situation was rectified in less than a day. The condo was a great location and Kim was honest about the stairs. The home had decent amenities and when we advised the fireplace wasn’t working it was fixed quickly. Would rent again.

Well situated fully equipped apt close to the lift, restaurants & shops. Well equipped and we really enjoyed our stay.

I had a good experience staying at this property. Everything was as expected

We stayed here with a family of five. Condo was as expected from listing. Three kids slept comfortably in loft area. Two flights of stairs but very close to slopes (essentially ski in/out). Well equipped kitchen and comfortable sitting area. Beds were fairly comfortable. Only downsides are low pressure shower head (not the heavenly shower I love after a day of skiing) and the refrigerator which sits next to the bed (noise is equivalent to some hotels A/C toggling on/off). Ski storage closest just outside condo. The property management folks at iTrip Vacations Aspen Snowmass were excellent: they dropped out Aspen cards in the condo for us before we arrived and were very prompt with all responses. Allowed us a late checkout which was super convenient. Pretty expensive rental, but it’s Aspen and we booked in Nov for Christmas, so you may have better luck. Would rent again.

We loved our stay at Kim’s place. Everything was wonderful, clean, plenty of towels, plenty of kitchen stuff. Super responsive and professional whenever we had any questions. We would absolutely stay there again.

We stayed here for 10 days (Family of four) and had a great time. The location was perfect making any activity super easy to access (gondola, bus transfers, restaurants, close to parking etc) It is close to the convention center so a few nights we did hear the music but it always ended at 10pm and we enjoyed the “free concerts”We will definitely stay here again!

The decor is lovely. A few points of constructive feedback which are by no means meant to be critical (rather helpful for future guests). * We were never able to find a pair of scissors and needed them often. Perhaps we just didn't see them but we did look everywhere we could think to look.* Having a humidifier was so helpful. Unfortunately as we were not up in the loft immediately, we didn't know we had one until much later in the stay. Perhaps leaving it somewhere more obvious so guests know it's there?* The animal hair seats are visually lovely, but they shed all over the slacks of anyone who sits there. It really became an issue for us as we had to change slacks before going out, or lie towels down over the seats. It was a pretty significant issue for us that we discovered through some embarrassing events.. As lovely as they are visually, I would recommend different seats for the future.* Finally, a few members of our party really struggled with altitude sickness. It might be helpful for future guests to know that you can rent an oxygen machine from Alpine Oxygen. They came within the hour and were a God-send for us. All in all an incredible week here. 3rd Floor Studio Loft located alongside the Village Express Lift (adjacent to the Viewline Resort). It’s a 3 min walk to the mountain, and then you can ski down to the village express. The place was practically brand new. The loft was a little tight since there is a large support beam that goes down the middle of the sloped roof. Other than that, this place is amazing! You do have to pay $15/day to park during the winter, but the office is very close to the condo. Condo was stocked with all kinds of amenities in the kitchen.

We loved our stay! Beautiful studio with loft. Just remodeled! Everything to make it comfortable and enjoyable. Very responsive host can walk to the ski slopes, which is a tremendous bonus! Beautiful, hot tub and pools. Would definitely recommend and will stay again.

Beautifully refinished studio plus loft. Stayed here with my husband, 2 daughters and a boyfriend. Plenty of space for all of us. Very easy access to the slopes to ski down to village express. Can walk to all of the restaurants. Well stocked kitchen. We will definitely stay here again!

The best location to stay in Snowmass! Close to the village and easy access to walking trails and restaurants. Hosts had timely communication and provided wealth on information about the area.

The unit was clean! Just a few steps down to the Snowmass mall, which everything was closed due to the switching of seasons. We missed summer opening up by a week! So plan accordingly to make sure things are open in the off season.

This is our second time staying at this condo and again it did not disappoint. Short walk to the mall, the bus depot and most importantly the slopes. Will return.

This location is super close for skiing and in a good center location for snowmass! Shuttle service was very easy to navigate when we wanted to get to aspen.

Fabulous stay here! Leaves were prime, trails for biking + hiking right outside the door, and quick access to Aspen. Loved the pool and hot tubs, had them to ourselves every time. The condo was great! Condo was clean, beds were comfortable, had pool towels, cozy blankets + extra pillows were helpful, and the kitchen was well-stocked with pots + pans etc. Only realized upon arrival that there were no kitchen essentials like salt + pepper, olive oil, any spices, etc. So be prepared to bring your own. Kim was great about making sure check-in went smooth and easy (it did!), and communication was great. Was a fabulous experience! Will definitely come again!

Nice location right next to Snowmass Village base area shopping and restaurants, etc. Wonderful pool and hot tubs in the property. The place is small but just big enough for two adults and two smaller kids (not easy for four adults as the loft ceiling height is like three feet). The kitchen is totally usable to cook real food. Full size fridge, microwave, oven/range. Nice to have laundry on the property (one building over).

We went to Snowmass for a yoga and music festival, the property was very close. It was clean and quiet. The pool and hot tub were a nice bonus:)

We stayed for 5 nights and really enjoyed the area. Lots of trails right out the back near the lifts.

Great place to stay. Close to Aspen, Maroon Bells and Glenwood Springs. Great central location. There is a nice grocery store on the mountain and nice places to eat and shop. Would definitely stay again next May.

Convenient and place to stay

We’ve stayed at Aspenwood condos many times throughout the years. Unit is close to the slopes and close to Snowmass Village. The convenience is fantastic!!

We truly enjoyed our vacation to Snowmass. The skiing was great. Our condo was in a great location. Be aware that condo is on 3rd floor. We had everything we needed at the condo.To ski, you just walk down the street, but your skis on and away you go! I would suggest that the unit definitely needs a new coffee maker!We hope to return next year.

We just returned from a week-long stay at Aspenwood J12, and we loved it. It was our first trip to Snowmass, and we weren't sure what to expect. We are a family of 5 - 2 parents, 3 kids ages 9, 7, and 5. This unit fit our needs almost perfectly. The loft was fun and comfortable sleeping quarters for kids these ages. And after long days skiing or exploring, my husband and I slept well in the downstairs queen bed. The welcome amenities provided by iTrip were generous. Since it's not easy to get to a store to pick up supplies, things like trash bags, toilet paper, dish washing detergent, paper towels, etc in starter quantities were very much appreciated. The kitchen is fairly well-stocked with everything we needed to cook simple meals. The unit is clean and instructions for accessing the community's features are well-noted in the kitchen. As for location, we accessed everything through the nearby Snowmass Mall. The bus stop, rental shops, and Sky Cap Gondola are all easily reached from this unit. For this price (especially in peak season when we visited), you can't beat the location.The staff at iTrip were very responsive when we had a question, no matter the day of the week. Emails sent with information leading up to our stay were well-timed and very informative. Our only small issue was with the hot water. It worked fine, but we had to learn a strategy to make sure we all got hot showers. Don't use the full water pressure level on the showers, and it usually lasts. Everything this condo brings for the price compared to nearby properties is outstanding. We would visit again any time we are in the area, and highly recommend it for groups with kids that will be happy to sleep in the loft.

We loved our cozy loft! The unit was steps away from the ski runs and Snowmass mall. We couldn't have asked for a better location. The fireplace inside was a really nice touch. The hot tub and pool provided really nice amenities. There was even a grill out there for guests! Overall, wonderful!

We had a nice stay, 5 days, 6 nights, in our condo. It was 3rd floor (not so easy for an old couple) and sort-of mid-80s styling and furnishings. The real benefit of our choice lay in the thoroughness of communication, directions, promptness of responses, attention to detail, and, needless to say, location---Snowmass Village. Altogether, for us, a good choice.

The hot tub was amazing the bed was comfortable and it had everything we needed and it was also walking distance to restaurants and bars.

Wonderful condo and location

Our place was a 2 minute walk from the slopes, pop your skis on and ski to the lift!. Great little place to stay. The kitchen is well equipped, and the condo was very clean. The only negative I have, which is negligible, is the shower head has very little pressure, and probably could be upgraded. Other than that, I rate this place 5 stars, including the property managers. would definitley stay there again, if I go back to Snowmass.

The loft is a loft and not much head clearance, so more comfortable for shorter people or kids. Ample hangers for things and linens. Cookware/dishes/utensils were well stocked. It’s right by the Snowmass mall so fun and convenient. Great hosts. Would appeal to many travelers

I was attending a conference at the Westin Conference Center and brought my mother, sister and 2 kids so they could ski/snowboard as well. The place was in an awesome location, literally a minute walk away from the conference center, the slopes and the pool/hot tub!! It looks just like the pictures! We used all the beds. The loft is not for tall people as you have to duck to get to the second bed, but it was fine for me and my younger 13 year old son. My 15 year old son slept on the pullout couch - he said it was as adequate as a pullout is expected. The main bed is next to the refrigerator so if you are sensitive to noise, earplugs might be helpful. We had all the dishes and utensils that we needed, linens were adequately stocked and there were plenty of hangers. Nice storage closet for skis/boards outside but not quite big enough for all 5 of our snowboards/skis and boots. We placed our snowboard bags in the entry way to protect the floor from the melting snow from all the items that didn’t fit in the closet. The hosts were very attentive and had all kinds of info available about the property and the local area. Instructions were very clear and comprehensive, no surprises. Again, we had a great time! The place was nice and clean and I would stay again!

Nice place to stay and my daughter likes the upper attic sleep and it was so comfortable.The kitchen was so clean with all the utensils/plates/bowls available.

The condo is cozy. Good size for four adults. It was very clean and kitchen had everything you would need. The owner was very responsive and helpful. The fridge is bit noisier that one would prefer, especially as one bed is right next to the fridge.
