We stayed @ Capital Peak A3209 for Snowmass Balloon Festival 2024. The unit in the large Capital Peak Lodge @ Snowmass base was very nice. Comfortable king bed in convenient single bedroom w/ large adjoining bath (which oddly had no hair dryer). Very good setup for couple though w/ full kitchen, compact living room, small balcony overlooking busy main roadway to upper mountain. Work requiring water shutoff was being done in complex on first day of stay. Communications by HOA about the work was poor but Mathilda from iTrip was great in providing clarifications, offering options and getting us situated. Public transit from complex around Snowmass was great. Elk Camp gondola was steps away and provided easy access to hiking trails on the mountain. Lots of serious mountain biking to be had there as well. Very much enjoyed our stay at iTrip Capital Peak A3209. Would stay there again.

Very convenient location. The major lift was 100 paces away. Restaurants and village the same. Pool and hottub are 10 paces away and elevated so privacy on first floor was still fine.I loved being able to ski to my door.The unit is quite large and suitable for families or groups of maybe six, more.Layout is good.The unit is dated--even tired-- but very functional. Enjoyed our stay at the unit once again. The only big downside was that the sliding door was not working well at all. It took a considerable amount of effort to open and close the door. We contacted itrip to notify them of the issue, but did not hear back and it appeared nobody was able to fix it or didn't try.

Great location!! The unit was stylish and clean. The unit seems surprisingly spacious for a studio. Our hosts were awesome and made everything very easy for us.

Kim's place was very conveniently located, very well equipped and homy. Our little one enjoyed the terrasse with the grass and the pool ! Kim was very responsive.

We had a great stay for our ski week. The location was wonderful and the unit was very nice and had good storage. The condo did get pretty warm on sunny days, but we were able to open the windows to cool down. There were only 2 of us staying in the unit. It can sleep more (2 queen beds and a large sofa bed), but your privacy would be limited and the space would fill up quickly.The only real disappointment we had was that the complex hot tub was not open until noon. It would have been nice to get a soak in on a couple mornings.

Nice and cozy place to stay.

We were very happy with our stay at this location. Very clean. The size of the apartment was perfect for our family of 4. The kitchen was very well equipped. They also provided enough essentials (tp, paper towels, soap…) to last the 5 days we were there. Right outside the back patio is the pool but also a large hill that the boys played soccer on while we bbqed. Location is great! A few steps to the lower village and gondolas. We opted to pay extra for a portable AC unit since the June days we stayed were 80 degrees and it was installed before our arrival and worked perfectly. Overall, would definitely repeat our stay here.

I really am glad that I chose this unit over others, slide the patio door open and you have the slope and the hot tub or a short walk to the base area restaurants, I-Trip takes care of their Tenants and are readily available to take care of any issues that may arise.A great value.

Solid four nights at Lichenhearth 24. Great location at base of Snowmass. Truly ski in and a 50 yard walk to lifts. The building is a little dated, but a gem. The unit was clean, well stocked and owner was responsive.

Cute little spot right in Snowmass village. Perfect for my boyfriend and I over a long weekend. We’ll book again next year, if the place is available.

This condo worked out really well for us. The photos give you a good idea but it's nicer than the photos. Very spacious for two adults and it would work well for a family with young children. We enjoyed being on the ground floor and so close to the pool and hot tub.Kim was in close touch prior to arriving and is very responsive. All her instructions were very clear and the condo had everything we needed. The condo is close to the Snowmass bus terminal and the bus system to Aspen is free and easy to use. We really enjoyed not using our car.I would highly recommend this place.

This is one of my favorite locations in Snowmass Village. so easy to get to everything. And you practically get the pool to yourself. Kim and the team make everything so easy beginning with check-in, following up to see if everything is ok to checking out. What you get is exactly what you see in the photos. Such a great condo.

Great apartment, well located a short walk to the base village and ski lifts

My wife and I booked this property last minute for a weekend snowboarding trip. Even with the last-minute booking the reservation and check-in process was seamless. The building and unit itsell are a little dated. If you're expecting brand new accommodations, you won't find that here. We knew what to expect and everything met our expectations. The property management company was great to work with. They were reachable via text whenever we had a question which was very convenient. Everything went smoothly. You can literally ski right up to the patio door. To get to the lifts, it's a very short walk to a stairway and then you can access either the main lift or the gondola. Both the hot tub and pool were working well and never too crowded. Overall, this property was great for what we needed.

Perfect spot for a ski in/ski out

My group of 6 loved our stay at Lichenhearth (Unit 24)Pros:-Incredible Location. 1-3 minute walk to the main lifts (Elk Camp Gondola, Village Express, and the super short gondola that takes you to Snowmass Mall)-Great hot tub and pool that was often empty.-Full kitchen with everything you need. Was able to save a lot of money by cooking our own food.-Price was very reasonable for this perfect location.-2 minute walk to the bus stop that takes you to Aspen.Cons: It's definitely not the largest property, but we managed just fine with 6 people. Ski gear took up a lot of space, but there was a closet that helped. 3-4 people total would feel much more spacious.

This was our second time staying in this same condo, and we have loved the convenience both times. It's a quick walk to the slopes in the morning and it's great to ski home directly at the end of the day.

A wonderful place to stay. Great for when you’re done with skiing or other activities as the condo is a walking distance from the slopes, unless of course you are skiing!

This property is amazing. The view out the back patio is awesome. There was actually only 2 of us that stayed in this condo but my daughter son in law and 2 grandkids came over frequently and ate with us. We were there for the TRIPLE CROWN baseball tournament. Which our team won the championship for 14u. Only a few minor concerns and Itrip responded immediately. If you rent this unit, just be aware thats its the first building for unit 24. You cannot see the address or sign comimg up the road, Its only visible coming down the road.Its right next to the gondola taxi that takes you to the Shopping mall up the slope. Pretty cool. It must have hot water on demand as it was right there . Great place. Would definitely stay here again.

It was just right for us (couple). We ended up sleeping on separate beds because whoever was on the wall side felt cramped, but OK for just us. Probably would work fine with kids. The hot tub was conveniently located right outside the back door. The jets were a little weak, but it was probably an older tub. It worked for us. The kitchen was well stocked with plates and cookware. An unfortunate COVID repercussion is condiments like mustard, etc. are no longer kept between visits.

Came out to see the HS Mtn bike races. Condo was perfect. Well maintained, close by, clean and well appointed. They must have hired a professional interior decorator.

This condo was awesome. We stayed here a week while attending my grandsons Baseball Tournament, which by they way they won! Which made our stay even more pleasurable. They back patio is to die for. It opens up to a huge beautiful lawn area with the pool/jacuzzi right there , and the view of the mountains. Coming from the dry desert, this was so amazing. Your are right next to the Village Base Camp with shops restaurants and 2 gondolas. You can walk there. Right next to the back door is the Gondola taxi that takes you for free up the mountian to another shopping mall with more restaurants and stores. I loved the pots and pans supplied in the kitchen, wish I would of looked at the brand. I'd love to have in my kitchen. Plenty of other cookware and utensils. The kitchen is new and very nice. It does have a glass cook top. Not sure if I liked that. I have gas, so it was a little getting use to. There was plenty laundry and dishsoap, a container of clorox wipes but no other cleaner. Bathroom had plenty of towels. Soap and shampoo.Lots of closet and drawer space.They do provide a box fan which helps during the day, a stand up oscillating fan would be better.Parking is tight but doable. I don't think a large P/U or SUV would fit. I would definitely book this condo again if I was to come here again.All their pictures of this condo are very accurate.

This was a wonderful vacation for a family wedding. Pool was very accessible and everything worked very well in the condo. The staff was responsive to questions. I would love to stay here again. Only issue was curtain covering door to patio and I reported that above.Best wishes, Lynn

Clean, very well-stocked and comfy place to stay just steps from the Snowmass Mall Gondola. It was the perfect weekend getaway!

This home is in a great location. The home was as expected.

We had a really good time at the residence. The check in process was smooth and everything in the residence was perfect. The place was very well equipped and appliances were in great condition. We had a very pleasant stay and would highly recommend.

Our family loved this location adjacent to the Treehouse and next to the skittles. Likely the shortest walk to the lift of any property at Snowmass. Staff was very responsive. Everything we needed in the kitchen and lots of space for a studio for us to spread out, including a king sized comfortable pull out couch.

I've skied and stayed in Snowmass several times, but this was the most convenient stay to-date. Very clean and cozy accommodations literally feet from the lifts, and quick walk to many of the base camp amenities, including a very convenient gondola ride to the Snowmass mall area. Check-in/out procedures were seamless, and the hosts were very responsive and accommodating to a potential change in my travel arrangements. We will definitely be back! Thanks Katie and Kim!

This was a great stay. Kim provided a lot of useful information before our trip about the place and the community including helpful information about local food shopping, ski equipment, purchasing tickets, etc. She checked in to make sure we got in and had no problems. She remained in touch without being intrusive. Basically very attentive.

We stayed in Lichenhearth 24 from the 27 of December till the 15th of January. The condo is excellent and we enjoyed our staying.My family stayed in Lichenhearth 23,25 and 27 and though those units are not ski in-out, they have several plus that we did not. For instance, the shuttle to and from the airport is a great convenience, as is to have a light cleaning and taking the trash out every other day.I had to call you because we were out of toilet paper and kleenex, but the guy that answered me said that the paper that was in the unit should last during all our staying, otherwise I had to buy my own paper. When we arrived there were two rolls in the cabinet and only the kleenex that were in use. For ten days? I had to borrow paper from my family, and I don´t think it is correct, specially because I paid almost $2,000. dollars more for our unit.I would love to come back, specially if you give add to your service the complementary shuttle and the housekeeping more often than every ten days.Thank you sincerely Graciela Elizondo de Zambrano

As a short term rental property manager myself I was very pleased with this stay - the guest contact was very informative and quick to respond. Would love to stay again, but this time over the winter since the location is ideal for catching the lift.

Great place! Easy to get up to Snowmass village because the place is right by a gondola. Aspen is only 15 min away. Comfortable living space and great to have a kitchen so we could cook some meals. Kim is wonderful! She gave us lots of recommendations on food and hikes.

Amazing location right near the base, steps away from the Gondola up to the mall. Pool and hot tub are right out the back door to the unit. Great base for our family trip exploring the Lost Forest, Maroon Bells, Aspen. Bathroom in the unit could use an update, but that wouldn't stop us from returning!

Stayed in Lichenhearth 24 w/ my wife and our three boys late Mar- wary Apr 2021. The unit was comfortable and clean, albeit a tad dated. The iTrip management team did an amazing job communicating with us, we’re very serviceable and helpful, and we were gracious how they accommodated our requests for early check-in and later check-out. The unit was not exactly in perfect condition but it was great for us as it had many positive features including being near kids ski school, steps away from the gondola and Village chair lift, a BBQ, wood burning fireplace, nice rear terrace where our kids spent time sledding, proximity to pool/jacuzzi, etc, etc. Quality to price (QPR) ratio was the key with our stay and we loved our stay.

Loved the hot tub access and great skiing , not a huge space but perfect for my wife and 3 young kids.

This condo we great for our family of 4. With young kids, the outside yard And heated pool were perfect in the evenings for them to play while we cooked and hung out. It is right next to the small gondola up to the mall and only a 5 min walk over to the large gondola. Great location!

From booking to checkout, everything was 5 star with our stay at Lichenharth 24 and the itrip team. During the booking process they were able to help me find the right place. After booking they answered all of my questions to help me plan what I would do while in Aspen and Snowmass. Before check in they even checked in with me to make sure I had received the instructions! Check in could not have been easier. After check in they again texted to make sure everything was as expected and to see if I had any questions. Itrip also easily accommodated a last minute extension of my stay. Lichenharth 24 itself was the perfect unit for us. It is exactly as advertised, can comfortably sleep and accommodate 6 for sleeping and dining and is stocked with everything you can think of to cook a meal. The unit had great views from the patio and was very comfortable for hanging out when not out and about. The beds were great, bedding and towels superb and the supplied soaps and shampoos were fantastic. The only thing possibly better than the unit itself was its amazing location. We were just steps from the pool and hot tub and probably about 25 yards from the lower village entrance, the free gondola to the upper village, and of course hiking and biking trails. We loved all the dining, hiking and biking right up in the Snowmass village we had and were just a short ride to much more of everything in Aspen. Lichenharth 24, Kim, Kim, Paddy and rest the of the itrip team far surpassed what we expected and we will definitely be back!

Kim’s place was in an absolutely stunning area. The condo was spotless, very well appointed, convenient (considering everything is 15-25 mins away but groceries are ten minute walk and restaurants and other conveniences). The pool was twenty steps away from our back door and it was cleaned multiple times per day, and hardly any people there. The gondola was equally close by, running all day, and takes you straight up for shopping and dining or hiking / skiing (we were there in summer so hiking and mountain biking is what we were seeing). Seemed like a great place for mountain biking. People checked in on us via phone communication and responded immediately to questions. Can’t say enough good things. It was a great family vacation for me and my daughters. Highly recommended.

Wonderful vacation for four nights with two of my kids (one teen, one 11 year old). Condo was sparkling clean and had everything we needed. The pool/hot tub is twenty feet away and is cleaned at least twice per day (probably more) by friendly, hard working staff. Never crowded at the pool either, usually we were there alone. Gondola, one minute walk away, runs all day long takes you up to restaurants, Starbucks, outdoor shopping mall. You can hike and mountain bike up and down the mountain outside your door. We took 20-30 min drives to aspen, basalt, Carbondale, Glenwood springs, and “Old” Snowmass. Clark’s grocery store is 15 mins walk and has everything you need. Itrip vacations was very responsive and friendly. Couldn’t ask for more! Highly recommend!

My two teenage daughters & I had a great 3 night stay here. The condo was great -awesome location, easy access, convenient on site parking, & every amenity that we needed. Would definitely stay here again on a future visit.

Great little condo. It is close to everything in town. Grocery store is only 5-10 min walk away, and you are right on the ski slope. The place was very clean and tidy and the customer service was fantastic. The place has a recently updated kitchen. The shower and toilet are the only things left to update in the place, but still very clean and functional. Also they have the BEST towels I have ever had in hotels or other rentals!

This is a great property within walking distance to Village Express in Snowmass Village. A great set-up for a small group - the fireplace is amazing, kitchen is stocked better than most, which is great if you want to cook, and the hot tub is a short walk away. Walls are a bit thin, as we could hear our neighbors pretty easily, but property was quiet overall. The property managers were responsive and very helpful! Love that they have a iPad with local info and to check in, and the property managers text to check in on you. Thanks for a great stay!

This was our first time staying in Snowmass, and we could not be happier with our home for the weekend! The decor was modern, attention to detail was an A +, the location was perfect, and we had everything we needed! The iron and ironing board really came in handy before the wedding! Kim got right back to us if we had a question, and our overall experience was incredible!! We would recommend this place to anyone! Miss it already

We really enjoyed our stay at your condo in Snowmass. The location couldn’t have been better and we loved the free shuttle service around the village. Lots of restaurants/bars close by and a convenient grocery store that was walking distance. We needed more toiletries and Chaz promptly brought them up. Loved having the hot tub so close as well! Definitely rating this place 5 stars and look forward to staying here again the winter possibly! Thank you!

Our family of 4 recently stayed here (2 boys, 6&7). From booking to check-in to check- out, everything was seamless. This unit is ideally located. Pool right out back, base village and Skittles lift right out the back door. The hosts have made the most of the space and the ability to divide the space was a real plus. The unit was well-stocked and had everything we needed. The only thing that was a bit challenging was figuring out the media- many remotes. A little cheat sheet might be helpful, especially with two little kids who needed a little tv down time. We can’t wait to return! Thank you.

Great place overall. It's a studio feel but there is an option to close off the two beds from the main living space. The location is excellent - about a 1 minute walk to the gondola at most and the pool / hot tub are about 30 feet from the back door. There's a nice fireplace and the tech setup is solid with the TV and WiFi. Highly recommend the location if you have a group of 2-4 people. Kim was outstanding as a host - I received quick replies on every question I had!

We had a great stay off season to enjoy hiking and mountain biking. Located immediately next to the base village, it is easy to get to any of the lifts or gondolas. Skittles gondola to the Westin Village is less than 100 yards away as is the pool. The condo is well laid out and functional with everything you would need.

The unit was very clean with high quality furnishings. Although small, it is designed to use space efficiently and was perfectly comfortable for our family of four. The kitchen is well equipped. The pool was nice and restaurants are an easy walk from the condo. The property management team was very communicative.

We were surprised at how large the studio felt the moment we walked in. It is in a fantastic location with easy parking access. The elevator was a big plus in getting our luggage inside.The kitchen is well equipped and a nice size for a studio. The views are great and we enjoyed being close to the pool.The management team is top notch!We would definitely stay here again.

The condo was a great place to stay. It was clean, well laid out with an open floor plan concept. There is a divider that separates the 2 beds from the open living space which worked fine for us. The sleeper sofa was spacious and comfortable, set with clean linens. We didn't use the nice tv, but it was equipped with full cable service and wifi connections. Great location!!

Nice studio condo at the base of Snowmass village. Though we didn't use it, the queen beds can be partitioned off with a sliding door to provide some privacy. The kitchen was well stocked and the condo had all the amenities you would expect. The sleeper sofa is definitely all that the description makes it out to be. It's a nice memory foam mattress.While the parking spot is low, we had no trouble getting our F150 truck into the spot...there was clearance to spare. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and would definitely consider booking the condo again in the future!

We just stayed at this lovely studio for our trip to Snowmass. It is located right at the base of the main lift. You can see the lift right from your back porch. We loved the updated decor of this unit as well. It was very clean and well- stocked. It had a lot of retractable room dividers which would be handy for privacy when staying with kids with an earlier bedtime. Location can't be beat with restaurants right outside your doorway. All in all...small, cozy and convenient!! We would def stay here again.

It had a lot of retractable room dividers which would be handy for privacy when staying with kids with an earlier bedtime. Location can't be beat with restaurants right outside your doorway. All in all...small, cozy and convenient!! We would def stay here again.

Stayed with Kim during the winter X-games. This place truly is ski-in/ski-out. The chairlift is visible from the living room window. It was super easy to come down the mountain and make a snack and get water during the day.

My husband and I had an amazing time at Snowmass and will definitely stay at this condo in the future. The pictures do not do this condo justice. The condo is at the base of the mountain and literally steps to the lifts, sky cab and village. You will not need a vehicle because you can walk everywhere and take the free shuttle bus into Aspen and to the other ski areas. The views of the slopes and the mountain from the condo windows are breathtaking! This condo is spacious enough for us and we were very comfortable. The sofa is comfortable with snuggly throws and pillows. Most of the condo is updated and very clean. We loved to ski up to the patio, take our boots off and then hang our skis on the inside ski racks the owner has right by the door. There is plenty of firewood on the patio for the wood burning fireplace. The staff at the complex were extremely helpful and friendly. We had an issue with the television and someone came to fix it within minutes. This condo is on the first floor, so no steps to climb, and again, ski right to the door!!! The sky cab gondola is literally steps away (maybe 100 feet) and you can take the sky cab for free from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. up to the village mall where you'll find Starbucks, bars, restaurants, shops and plenty of areas to relax and people watch. If you don't want to take the sky cab up to the village mall you can just walk about 100 feet and be right in the new base village with plenty of restaurants, shops, bars, and firepits. There's also free smores everyday from 3:30 to 4:30 in the village mall and base village. There is an outdoor heated pool and an outdoor hot tub. The only negative thing about our stay is that the outdoor hot tub was filthy and smelled of urine, which is not the owner's fault and out of their control. We walked to the hot tub after a long day of skiing, took one look at it, smelled the horrible smell and then turned around and went back inside the condo without getting in. We did complain before we left, so hopefully this issue will be resolved in the future. This definitely will not keep us from returning to this fantastic condo!!

We truly enjoyed our trip and the place worked really well for us. The kitchen had everything we needed and the place was clean. There was plenty of wood for the fireplace and towels for the hot tub. Looking forward to returning!

Kim was on the ball everything was perfect from our early check in to the cleanliness of the condo. She was very accommodating and answered all our questions quickly! Even when my flight got delayed she allowed us to stay an extra night and figured everything out for us. Overall amazing service will tell everyone i know To go to Kim if they are in snowmass/aspen!

Kim's apartment was delightful! I loved everything from the ski in porch to the fully stocked fireplace. There's plenty of room and everything was very clean! location was very quiet during the off season but I would stay there again!

Our stay in Kim's apartment was beyond wonderful! It was very clean and modern. It was in a very peaceful building and the view from the porch was breathtaking! Unfortunately we stayed at the off season so we didn't get a chance to ride the lift or other winter activities but I will be back and I will stay here again! The fireplace was a nice touch too.

I loved the location of this sweet studio. Ski in Ski out...as I stayed in September, I only imagined how cool it would be to have this for a ski vacation! The place was clean and comfy and the hosts are AMAZINGLY communicative and pro-active! Thanks for a fabulous stay!

We just returned from an amazing time in snowmass. The condo fit our needs perfectly! Nice size and layout for a family of four. Everything you could need was in the condo. It’s the perfect ski in/ski out, literally! This is by far the best location to ski, eat, use the pool and hot tub, get gear, get a snack etc. we were so thankful for the condo owners always got back to us right away if we had a question or needed something. They’re awesome people, very professional and super kind. Thank you for an amazing time in your perfect little condo with everything to make it feel like home.

This location is absolutely brilliant- literally walk out the patio door and you’re in the snow and 50 yards from the ski lifts/gondola to Snowmass Village Mall. The space is clean, warm, and thoughtfully designed with modern touches throughout. We stayed as a group of five and Kim made our experience fantastic because of her quick responses to all of our questions, from where to buy groceries to how to buy lift tickets/lessons in advance. The condo had great kitchen amenities and we were able to cook breakfast (make coffee, toast bread, fry eggs) before all of our tiring snow adventures. There was shampoo/conditioner but not enough for the group so we bought some at Clark’s. Wish the shower pressure was a little stronger but that’s a very minimal part of the whole condo’s amenities. Thank you so much Kim again. We will be highly recommending your place to anyone we know that wants to visit Aspen! Kindest regards.

We stayed for a few nights in Jan. I didn’t realize that we were so close to the ski hill, open the patio doors, walk a few steps and we were at the ski lifts and the gondola to go up to the mall. It is also a very short walk to the transportation center if you want to go to Aspen. I prefer annd one bedroom but this “studio “ waos okay although for four or more people maybe a little tight mostly for the lack of space to spread out luggage. Kitchen was well appointed, the TV was a little small to comfortably view from the sofa but maybe my age plays into that!Only pointer that might help future guests would be explicit instructions on how to use the fireplace. Neighbors didn’t open the flu before starting a fire at 10 pm resulting in 45 minutes of blaring alarms! Not a fault of this unit but the complex.

The locations of this unit is perfect! Right next to the base for easy ski access as well as access to the base amenities for those that are not skiing! The king pull out sofa was a nice surprise for our ever growing teenagers...with the sofa bed open there is still room for another person to sleep in the side portion of the sectional. The kitchen was well equipped. The towels so soft. Plenty of room for the four of us to spread out in this roomy place!

This cute condo was absolutely perfect for our small family! It had everything we needed to stay in and cook from the condo and it was more than cozy with the wood fireplace and large L sectional couch. The beds were nice and cozy. The dividers make this studio-like condo close off so you can stay up watching movies when the kiddos go to sleep without waking them. The pool and hot tub are literally right out your back door and so are the slopes! It literally couldn't be more of a ski-in ski-out than it is. You can ski right off of the run, onto the back patio. The Kims were also amazing to work with! I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for the perfect getaway in Snowmass/Aspen!
