Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We value hearing where expectations weren’t met, as it gives us the opportunity to clarify and improve, and it seems like in this case, there was some communication breakdown with both parties involved. When you asked if anyone was staying in the unit prior to your arrival, our Guest Services Representative misunderstood the dates involved and gave you the "extended reservation" rate. She was not intending to tell you to book another night in order to check in early and we apologize for that confusion on our end. When we didn't get a response from you, we assumed everything was as normal and continued with our regular communications, to which none were responded to. We always do our best to accommodate early check-ins when possible. On your arrival day, we sent a text message at 1:15 PM confirming that early access had been approved and you would be allowed to check into the unit at that time. We did not receive a response to that text message and deeply apologize if you missed it somehow. It looks like you responded to one of our text messages earlier about your arrival, so we are unsure if you received the other messages or not. On a side note, when early check-in cannot be granted, either right away or not at all, we offer complimentary luggage storage at our office until the unit is ready, which we communicated with you on January 25. We truly try to provide flexible solutions whenever we can. Regarding the living room TV, we completely understand not wanting to spend vacation time troubleshooting. As part of our standard arrival inspection, we turn on all TVs and confirm they are functioning, including changing channels, and it was working when we completed that inspection. Often, if something isn’t responding, it’s a simple setting or remote issue that can be resolved quickly. Had we known during your stay, we would have gladly stopped by at a time convenient for you to take care of it. We also wish we had known about the coffee maker and mattress concerns while you were in residence. Comfort is important, and without feedback during the stay, we don’t have the opportunity to address it in real time, which is disappointing. If we’re aware of an issue, we always look for ways to assist. Thank you again for sharing your perspective. We strive to provide strong communication and responsive service, and when we’re made aware of concerns during a stay, we act quickly. Your feedback helps us continue refining the experience for future guests.
